but what i always wonderd about this technique is: do you first use the watercolors and paint the outlines afterwards or do you use a special ink or something that resists the watercolor? or do you just use a pencil for the scetching and then use the watercolor and then draw the outlines..?
sorry for this silly questions but i never used watercolors but find it very intresting and want to start with it the right way..so maybe you can help me to get to know a bit more about that..
Most of the time I outline (ink) the drawing first, however if you go for really realistic watercolor paintings usually you dont ink but paint the pencil sketch. For inking I use Sakura Micron Pens, though any waterproof pen should work fine
